Director and Brilliant Butterflies Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
Sue is excited and honored to be the school’s new director. She has been part of the LMS family for over 15 years. She started as a parent in 2000, followed by an aide and then lead preschool and pre-k teacher. Sue has a BA in Communications from CSUS and has completed over 25 Early Childhood Education classes. She believes that children learn through the process and she enjoys enriching them socially, academically and developmentally. She is married with three teenagers.
Sunitha Kandagatla (Ms. Sunny) graduated from Osmania University, India with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. After taking 2 years of Computer Programming classes through California community colleges she discovered that her passion is teaching kids especially watching them develop and grow emotionally, socially, and academically. She previously worked as a childcare provider/Director for 11 years. She is currently studying Child Development/Early Childhood Education to get a Associate Teacher Certificate. She looks forward to applying her skills with LMS as it brings her great pleasure to be working with children and families. Sunny enjoys cooking, music, and spending time with her family.
Busy Bees Three Year Olds and Four Year Olds Teacher
Gwen has been working with children for over twenty years. She has a BA in Child Development and has worked as a nanny, a preschool teacher, an aide in an elementary school and owned and operated her own family daycare. Gwen’s favorite thing to do is spend time with her daughter! She also enjoys doing arts and crafts, camping, reading and photography. Gwen loves working with the children and families of LMS and looks forward to watching the children grow and learn during their preschool experience!
Little Ladybugs Toddler Teacher
Beth has been the toddler teacher at LMS for three years now. Prior to teaching 18 month to 3 year olds she also taught 4-5 year olds at Sacramento Waldorf School. She is a mother of two boys. One is a LMS graduate and the other is currently attending LMS. She lives with her family in Fair Oaks. In her free time Beth enjoys gardening, cooking and crafting. Beth adores teaching toddlers. She feels honored to be a part of the toddlers’ first experience at school. Beth has enjoyed being a part of the LMS family for the past 7 years and looks forward to more.
Sarah is a recent addition to Little Methodist School. She has a BS in Civil Engineering and worked in Land Development and Transportation Engineering for several years before leaving the engineering field to become a stay at home parent. She became involved with LMS through her children and went back to school to certify as an Early Childhood Education Assistant Teacher. She is currently working on obtaining her Associate Teacher Certificate. Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and watching her two kids grow. She also enjoys reading, gardening and cooking. Sarah looks forward to supporting the teachers, children and families of LMS.
